The Recent Violence in Egypt and Libyia: I'm Not Buying It.
I Am Having A Hard Time Accepting This Official Explanation.
The above photo shows an Islamist Jordanian protester burning the U.S. flag near the U.S. embassy in Amman, Jordan, Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, as part of widespread anger across the Muslim world about a film ridiculing Islam's Prophet Muhammad.
We are being told that the recent violence in Egypt and Libya is a result of that film's insulting portrayal of Muhammad. While I have no doubt that this film has aided in stirring up outrage and violence, I don't believe that the motivation for the violence is purely a spontaneous reaction to the film. I agree that Muslims are violent and easily ignited. Rioting and burning American flags seem to be their favorite pass time, however, I suspect this protest has been planned for a while. More then likely, their leaders are simply taking advantage of an opportunity.
Think About It:
In his article called Disgrace In Benghazi, Journalist Mark Steyn ask some questions I thought they were worth passing on. Consider the following:
1. How did the terrorists know where Ambassador Stevens' "safe house" was?
There has been some confusion about the timeline as to when the safe house was targeted and when the consulate was targeted. However one thing is clear: The embassy is in Tripoli; the consulate office is in Benghazi. In between the consular office and the embassy, Stevens was moved to a "safe house."
2. How did they know the details of the Ambassadors travels from Tripoli to Benghazi?
3. What could be the real motivation for these attacks. What did they stand to gain by this?
The answer to #3 is pretty clear. They now have confiscated sensitive U.S. documents that include a list of Libyans who were helping Americans.
All the signs of a premeditated effort are there.
My point is this, Islam would have us believe that they have been victimized. That we American should be ashamed of ourselves for allowing such films to be published. It is an attack on our civil liberties and an excuse to carry out military agendas. I say stand strong and unashamed. They are the violent criminals not us.
